The Reasons We Do

Why do we do the things we do. Why do we bitch when we could talk? Why do we go to parties when its more practical to stay at home? Why do we breakup only to make-up again? Why do we fall in lust and confuse it with love? If a gay man knew the answers to these question; well he'd be a god.

I find myself lately try to assess myself of the reason why i do most of the things i do and truth be told i can't really find a reason. Why do i keep getting in situations where my best friend's boyfriends keep hitting on me? Why do i keep falling for the wrong guys? Why do i end up going to parties where i know I'll be miserable?

The truth about it is that we gay men really don't have reasons why we do the things we do. Hell i don't know why i kept on breaking up and making up with my ex boyfriend when he kept on cheating on me not once, not twice, not thrice, not.............. I'm getting of point. Gay men are spontaneous. I think that's one of our in built genetic traits. We tend to go with the never ending flow of fabulosity and drama. At first, it makes life interesting, but after a while, well it sucks. I mean i keep watching my best friend keep setting himself up for heartbreak by falling for emotionally unavailable guys. Why he does this i can only fanthom. I can't judge him cos truth be told i've done some stupid things myself.

So why do we do the things we do. Only God knows. But if we didn't do them, life might be pretty boring.
